RECIPE – Hot Chocolate Mug Cake, feat. Karuna’s Silky Oat

For the Mug Cake

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup oat flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 3 tbsp monk fruit sugar
  • Pinch of salt

For the Toppings (optional)

  • 1 tbsp marshmallow fluff or Greek yogurt (gluten-free and/or vegan substitutes if desired)
  • cocoa powder for dusting
  • powdered sugar for dusting


  1. In a mug, combine all the ingredients for the mug cake until the batter is smooth.
  2. Microwave on high for 2 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the middle.
  3. Top with marshmallow fluff and dust with cocoa powder and powdered sugar. Enjoy warm!
